Rian hammock tent
The Skandika Rian hammock tent is suitable for anyone who wants to be as close to nature as possible. It combines the functions of a hammock with those of a bivouac tent and rain poncho and is therefore ideally equipped for any outdoor situation. With its ultra-light weight and small pack size, it offers hikers, trekkers and cyclists in particular, but also campers, a reliable and sheltered place to sleep after an eventful day.

Simple assembly
The hammock tent can be conveniently set up between two trees in just a few minutes using two robust nylon straps and snap hooks, offering maximum comfort. The distance between the trees should be between 3 and 4 metres. If there are no suitable trees nearby, Rian can also be used on the ground like a conventional tent.
Ultra lightweight
Made from high-quality materials such as aluminium and nylon, together with the ingenious construction and optimised tent cut, Rian weighs just 1.9 kg and offers feather-light comfort on your next outdoor adventure. Nevertheless, the maximum load is up to 200 kg with a user height of up to 190 cm.
Small pack size
Thanks to its small pack size of just 44 × 18 × 13 cm, it fits into almost any rucksack on hiking, trekking or cycling tours. This way, it is always and everywhere with you and guarantees full flexibility and spontaneity for all outdoor activities. The robust carry bag keeps the tent clean during transport and storage
High-quality materials
The 70D nylon hammock floor fabric is lighter than polyester and is also particularly tear-resistant. The unbreakable and alloyed aluminium poles with a high strength-to-weight ratio are particularly corrosion-resistant and lightweight. The 210T ripstop polyester of the rain cover is PU-coated and scores points with its 3,000 mm water column.
Ultimate protection
Rian offers reliable protection in all weather conditions. The all-round integrated mosquito net protects against annoying insects. This is particularly valuable in the forest or near water. The rain cover, the firmly sewn-in groundsheet and the guy height of 1.2 metres provide additional protection against rain, wet ground and rising cold.
Practical extras
A slide-in compartment in the hammock base prevents a sleeping mat from slipping - cut to fit perfectly and available separately for our inflatable Skandika Exclusive Air Single sleeping mat. Organiser pockets keep important small items to hand and two hooks are perfect for hanging camping lamps.
