The Skandika Bergen 5 Protect combines the easy handling and stability of a dome tent with the practical extension of an adjoining, large sleeping area. The result is a generously proportioned tent that not only offers a comfortable sleeping space for up to 5 people, but also scores points with a light-flooded living and lounge area. Together with the firmly sewn-in groundsheet and the two flexible entrances, Bergen provides a high level of comfort and is quick and easy to set up and take down.

High dome tent with 2 entrances
The almost square dome area of the tent is a full 230 cm high and offers plenty of room to move, even for tall people. Two entrances equipped with mosquito netting allow great flexibility and ensure good air circulation in the tent without letting in annoying insects.
Clever use of windows and doors
Using the two poles supplied, one of the two doors can be set up as an awning to provide shade in the entrance area in strong sunlight. A large foil window with mesh insert provides plenty of light and fresh air even when the doors are closed, but can also be covered from the outside for more privacy if required.
Pleasant climate in the sleeping cabin
Two double-layered entrance doors provide access to the sleeping cabin. They can either be closed with the mesh doors only or, for more privacy, with the opaque outer doors. A mesh insert in the rear wall and the appropriately positioned ventilation opening in the outer tent, together with the breathable material, ensure a pleasant climate even when the cabin doors are closed.
Protection from wind and weather
Thanks to the firmly sewn-in, waterproof groundsheet, neither cold draughts and rising damp nor unpleasant creepy-crawlies are a problem in the tent. Made from tear-resistant tent material with a water column of 3,000 mm, the Bergen 5 Protect keeps everything dry at all times. The robust fibreglass poles ensure a secure footing and are colour-coded to make pitching easier.
Top equipment with attention to detail
Clever extras such as a hook for a camping lamp, reflective guy ropes with easy-to-use aluminium rope tensioners and a weather-protected cable opening for the power supply inside the tent make the camping experience much easier.
